We helped Lavina find a job that fits her life

Lavina’s story shows what’s possible when people are supported, not rushed. 

When Lavina came to us in November 2025, she was navigating health challenges, financial stress and the demands of parenting. She needed work that could fit around school runs, her capacity and her wellbeing. 

Personalised support for Lavina 

Through our Inclusive Employment Australia program, we worked alongside Lavina at the right pace for her to build her confidence. We helped her with: 

  • A stronger resume 
  • A tailored cover letter 
  • Suitable work clothing 
  • Funded driving lessons 

The Outcome 

In February 2026, Lavina secured a flexible commercial cleaning role that works for her life and supports her long-term success. 

Lavina’s outcome didn’t happen by chance. It was made possible through the right support at the right time. It’s also why we’re so proud to see her Job Coach, Sarah, recognised as a finalist in the 2026 Disability Employment Australia (DEA) Awards for her outstanding commitment to meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes. 

When we stop asking people to fit the system, and start building support around their lives, real change happens.
