Community

AKG is proud of our partnerships, joint ventures and programs dedicated to First Nations people across Australia, from remote Western Australia to Far North Queensland and inner-city Sydney

True collaboration

AKG’s partnerships with local Aboriginal corporations, organisations, support services and Councils are designed to engage with communities on their own terms. We co-design our programs and community projects with local people.

We provide training, recruitment, mentoring and community development for clients, alongside the development of business enterprises for long-term employment and economic impact.

We support employers to embrace diversity

Across AKG, we are keen to partner with employers who embrace diversity in their business. We can support businesses to hire skilled First Nations employees through our recruitment and placement services.

Alongside this, our teams can support workplaces to be Culturally safe, inclusive and welcoming to their First Nations employees. Cultural competency training is available for interested employers.

Once employed, we help all new employees to thrive with in-work support including ongoing mentoring, upskilling, employer communications and practical items such as workwear.
