Jobfind’s Luv Ya Mob Workshop & Indigenous Engagement

By March 1, 2024July 24th, 2025No Comments1 min read

Jobfind recently organised an inspirational full day workshop entitled “Luv Ya Mob”. The workshop organised by Jobfind’s Rachael Fraser and Manuela Toditsch celebrated Indigenous cultural heritage for our North West, Coburg, Flemington & Fitzroy Indigenous participants. Participants engaged in a range of activities throughout the workshop including indigenous painting & making indigenous bead hangers.

An initial Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony led by Elder Colin Hunter Junior who cleansed all in attendance. A range of interesting guest speakers for the day included Terrille Wright, Indigenous Employment Advisor Kmart & Target, Leeann Nguyen from Killara Foundation and Sam May from the National Indigenous Culinary Institute. We thank all speakers for coming and sharing their experiences working with Indigenous culture, creativity and workforce.
