The right structure and strategy can transform a jobseeker’s journey. This was the approach we took to help Tom, one of Workforce Australia customers.
When Tom came to us in November 2025, he faced some real challenges:

- Apprehension around job interviews and workplace environments

However, our team saw that Tom had a willingness to learn, resilience and was reliable. Here’s how we supported him:
- Practical exercises to challenge limiting thinking patterns and build positive self-image
- Career exploration to identify roles that aligned with his interests. This led Tom to discover his passion for hands-on, outdoor work.
- Enrolment in the Maximise My Career short course delivered by Max Solutions RTO, where Tom learned to identify his strengths and approach interviews with confidence.
And when Tom eventually secured his landscaping role, we eased the financial burden of entering the workforce by covering:
- Fuel vouchers
- Driving lesson reimbursement
- Work-related clothing
