AKG is today pleased to announce the acquisition of Arriba Group’s AimBig Employment business delivering the Workforce Australia employment services contract in Darling Downs and Mackay.
This transaction expands AKG’s employment services offering in Queensland, and strengthens AKG’s service delivery to regional towns and communities within Queensland.
Arriba Group will strategically exit its Workforce Australia contracts. This decision ensures that reinvestment resources are directed towards areas of greatest impact and growth potential within their core Allied Health services.
As the highest performing provider of Workforce Australia, AKG will work closely with the Arriba group to guarantee service continuity and delivery of support in the regions.
AKG looks forward to bringing high-quality delivery of essential employment services to people in the regions and making an impact on those communities. Having recently brought together the employment services brands of Jobfind, MAX and uLaunch under the banner of AKG, Aimbig employees will join a team of people dedicated to a common purpose.
AKG is committed to being a national leader in Australia, setting the standard for Employment Services delivery across the country, empowering people and communities to thrive.
Karen Massier, Executive General Manager AKG Australia said:
“We have worked in close partnership with the team at Arriba to ensure the continuity and consistency of services for every single customer. People and employers in the regions will continue to receive the same support, often from the same familiar staff, now backed by AKG.
I am excited to welcome our new team members and look forward to continuing to deliver for our participants and communities”
Marcella Romero, Founder and CEO Arriba Group said:
“We are proud of the meaningful impact our AimBig WorkForce Australia team has made in empowering participants and supporting sustainable employment outcomes across the Darling Downs and Mackay regions over the past 3 ½ years.
