As a result of changes announced to the program coming in July 2024 by Katy Gallagher, Minister for Women and Tony Burke, Minister for Employment, mutual obligations in the program are no longer in effect.

However, the program will continue to run until that time and customers are still able to access support from our teams. We are committed to helping all parents in the program to achieve their goals for the future, including:

• Accessing funding to help with the costs associated with finding suitable work.
• Support with childcare to enable you to look for work.
• Help you to find work experience or relevant training that might help you achieve your goals.

For more information on what requirements still exist, please visit the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations or speak to your Job Coach about how we can continue to support you at your next appointment.
