Your Inclusive Employment Australia provider

From 3rd November, AKG will be delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia service in your area. We’re delighted to be able to bring our expertise and support and with 30 years experience across every state and territory, you’re in good hands. You will have already received a notification from the department at the end of September to let you know who your new provider is.

Who are AKG?

AKG is one of Australia’s largest and most trusted employment services providers. Every year we support thousands of people to gain the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to find and keep meaningful work. As AKG, we have brought together the experience of 3 of the industry’s best employment service providers. (Jobfind, MAX and uLaunch) under one banner to deliver employment services across the country. But you’ll still find the same friendly faces in our offices.

What is Inclusive Employment Australia?

Inclusive Employment Australia is the new employment program to support people with disability, replacing the old Disability Employment Service (DES). The new program has a stronger emphasis on inclusivity, flexibility and customer centred approaches. Inclusive Employment Australia aims for long-term, sustainable employment outcomes with enhanced collaboration between people looking for work, service providers, and employers.

What do I need to do?

Nothing yet. The transition period has already started and we are working with the department to ensure all information is up to date in our systems. Our teams will begin scheduling initial appointments with people so that we can get to know you and have an initial conversation about how we best support you into the future.

If you are already in work and receiving support, we will connect with you to ensure we understand your circumstances and what we can do to help.

You will also shortly receive a Welcome Pack by email with information about the new service.

Already started work?

Get in touch with our Support Hub team on 1800 603 503 – we can assist you with travel, tools, fuel, clothing and more. If you’re about to start work, we may also be able to help you with licenses or other essentials you may need.

Whether for medical reasons or while meeting other obligations—we’re still here for you. Staying connected means we can continue to support you in ways that fit your circumstances.

You’re still part of our community, and when you’re ready to return, we’ll work with you to make the transition as smooth as possible. We can also help with information, resources, or check-ins to keep you engaged and confident about your employment goals.
